Friday is a half day, with talks ending at lunchtime.

Conference Excursion

There will be a conference excursion on the Wednesday afternoon, 12 December 2012. The conference excursion will be by coach from UNSW to Audley in the Royal National Park, in the South of Sydney and then to the Symbio Wildlife Park and finally back to UNSW. We will depart immediately after the last talk of the morning, around 12.10pm.

The Royal National Park is the world's second oldest national park, established in 1879. We will stop for a couple of hours at Audley, near the Audley Visitors Centre. There are lawns and shady trees, and a picnic lunch will be provided (included in the excursion cost). At Audley there is a new cafe, and a visitor's centre and souvenir shop in the historic Audley dance hall. Enjoy the peaceful setting, or go on a short bush walk, or hire a boat or a bicycle for an hour from the historic Audley boatshed.

From here we will go by coach to the Symbio Wildllife Park to see koalas and other animals. Finally the coach will bring everyone back to UNSW. We expect to be back at UNSW by 18:30 and quite possibly earlier.

The conference excursion is not included in the conference registration. Places on the excursion for conference participants and family and friends can be booked on the registration page.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be held on the Thursday evening, 13 December, 2012, at Crowne Plaza, Coogee Beach. There will be a buffet dinner with wine, soft drinks and tea/coffee included. Other drinks will be available from the bar. More details about the dinner will be provided later.

If you have any dietary requirements please make this clear when registering for the conference.

For conference participants, the conference dinner is included in the registration fee for the conference. Additional tickets for the dinner for family and friends may be booked when registering for the conference.
